Child Safety Standards

Child Safety Standards

This document sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), published in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.

1. Our position

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Content, conduct or use of Party Games that sexualises, exploits, endangers or otherwise harms a minor is strictly prohibited, will be removed wherever we can act on it, and will be reported to the competent authorities.

This applies to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualised depictions of minors in any medium including drawings or AI-generated imagery, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to use the app to reach or harm a child.

2. Who the app is for

Party Games is rated and intended for adults aged 18 and over. It contains bolder "Spicy" questions and dice rules that reference drinking or penalties. It is not designed for, marketed to, or appealing to children:

  • Store listings target an adult audience and carry the corresponding age rating.
  • The Terms of Service require users to be 18 or older.
  • All "Spicy" content sits behind the premium unlock, and the "Spicy" category in "Who's Most Likely?" additionally requires an explicit in-app confirmation.

3. How the app's design limits risk

Party Games has, by design, none of the features CSAE typically depends on:

  • No user accounts, profiles or logins.
  • No messaging, chat, comments, friend lists or any communication between users. Players interact face to face, around one device.
  • No user-to-user content sharing. Custom categories, questions, player names and rules are stored only on the device that created them and are never uploaded, published or transmitted to anyone.
  • No photo, video, audio or file upload. The app does not request camera, microphone, photo library or storage permissions.
  • No social discovery, matchmaking, live streaming or location features.
  • No user-generated content is hosted or distributed by us.

There is therefore no pathway within Party Games for a user to send content to a child, receive content from a child, or distribute CSAM through the app.

4. Content we ship

All pre-written categories, questions and rules are written and reviewed by the developer before release. They must not sexualise minors, reference minors in any sexual or suggestive context, or encourage contact with minors. Any content reported as breaching this is reviewed and removed or rewritten in the next release.

5. Reporting

Anyone can report a child safety concern about Party Games:

Email: aleindiedev@gmail.com — subject line "CHILD SAFETY"

Please include the app version, the language, the exact content or behaviour, and a screenshot where possible. Reports may be made anonymously.

Our commitment:

Step Timeline
Acknowledge the report Within 24 hours
Assess and act (remove content, ship a fix, escalate) Within 72 hours of acknowledgement
Report to authorities where CSAE is suspected Immediately upon determination

We do not require the reporter to provide personal information, and we do not retaliate against people who report in good faith.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to:

6. Our response to CSAE reports

When we receive a credible report, we:

  1. Remove or disable the offending content in the next release, and pull the release immediately if the content ships in the app itself.
  2. Preserve the evidence we hold, which is limited to the report and its attachments, since the app stores nothing on our side.
  3. Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the competent national authority, as required by applicable law.
  4. Cooperate fully with law enforcement and with Google Play and Apple.
  5. Notify the platforms through their developer channels where their policies require it.

7. Legal compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws and platform requirements in the markets where the app is distributed, including reporting obligations to NCMEC under U.S. law where applicable, Argentine law on grooming (Ley 26.904) and child protection, the EU Digital Services Act as it applies to us, and the UK Online Safety Act. We also comply with COPPA and the GDPR's provisions on children's data by not collecting personal data at all — see the Privacy Policy.

8. Designated contact point

Child safety point of contact: the developer of Party Games Email: aleindiedev@gmail.com

This address is monitored for law enforcement requests, platform enquiries and user reports concerning child safety. Law enforcement should identify the requesting agency and the legal basis of the request; we respond to valid legal process.

9. Review

These standards are reviewed at least annually, and whenever the app gains a feature that changes the risk profile — for example any form of online play, content sharing or communication between users. If such a feature is ever added, this document will be updated before release with the corresponding moderation and reporting measures.
