- App: Party Games (Android:

1. Short version
Party Games is an offline party game. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run ads, we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect or receive any personal information about you.
Everything you enter in the app — player names, custom categories, custom questions, custom rules and your settings — is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us.
The only data that leaves your device is what is needed to sell and restore the optional one-time premium purchase, and that is handled by Apple, Google and our purchase provider RevenueCat, not by us directly.
2. Information we collect
We collect no personal data ourselves. Party Games has no user accounts, no login, no server of our own and no data collection SDK.
Specifically, the app does not collect or access:
- Name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Contacts, calendar, photos, files or media
- Location data of any kind
- Camera or microphone
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) or any cross-app or cross-site tracking identifier
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports or behavioural profiles
Party Games does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you across apps or websites.
3. Information stored on your device
The following is saved locally with the operating system's standard app storage
(SharedPreferences on Android, NSUserDefaults on iOS). It stays inside the
app's private sandbox, is not readable by other apps, and is not transmitted to
us:
| What is stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Player names you type before a match | So you do not have to re-enter the group each session |
| Custom Bomb Party categories | Premium feature: your own categories |
| Custom "Who's Most Likely?" questions | Premium feature: your own questions |
| Custom Little Dice rules and rule sets | Premium feature: your own rules |
| Selected categories, difficulty and number of rounds | To remember your last match setup |
| Sound, vibration and visual effects preferences | To honour your settings |
| "Show rules before playing" preference | To honour your setting |
| Language preference | To keep the app in the language you chose |
| Counters of app opens and completed matches | To decide when to show the premium screen and the "rate the app" prompt, at most occasionally |
These counters are plain numbers. They contain no identifiers, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted when you delete the app's data or uninstall the app. See Data Deletion.
4. Purchases and third-party processors
Party Games offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks premium content. If — and only if — you interact with purchases, the following third parties are involved:
Apple App Store / Google Play
Your payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment method, card number, billing address or store account. We receive no personal information from them; we only learn, through RevenueCat, whether an anonymous installation holds the premium entitlement.
- Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) to validate receipts and keep your purchase restorable across reinstalls and devices signed into the same store account. RevenueCat acts as our processor and may handle:
- A pseudonymous, randomly generated "app user ID" created on your device. We do not link it to your name, email or any account, because there is no account.
- Purchase and subscription events (product purchased, date, store, country, price, refund or restore events).
- Technical data sent with the request: IP address (used to derive approximate country and then discarded or truncated according to RevenueCat's policy), device model, operating system version and app version.
RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
Store review prompt
When you have finished several matches, the app may ask the operating system to show Apple's or Google's native "rate this app" dialog. The prompt is rendered and handled entirely by the OS. We do not receive your rating, your review text or any identifier, and we cannot tell whether the dialog was shown or answered.
5. Permissions the app requests
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
Internet (android.permission.INTERNET) |
Only to validate and restore purchases. The games themselves run fully offline. |
Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) |
To offer the in-app purchase on Google Play. |
| Keep the screen awake | So the screen does not turn off in the middle of a match. |
| Haptic feedback | Optional vibration during matches, through the system haptics API; can be turned off in Options. No Android VIBRATE permission is declared. |
Party Games requests no runtime permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.
6. How we use data
Because we do not receive personal data, we do not use it for profiling, advertising, personalisation, scoring or sale. The purchase data described in section 4 is used solely to:
- Deliver the premium content you paid for.
- Restore that purchase when you reinstall or change device.
- Comply with tax, accounting and store-platform obligations (handled by Apple and Google).
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we never have. Under the CCPA/CPRA we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined there.
7. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing purchase and entitlement data so we can deliver and restore premium content you bought.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): preventing fraudulent or duplicated purchases and keeping the app functioning.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retaining transaction records where tax or consumer law requires it.
We do not rely on consent for any data collection because we collect none, and we carry out no automated decision-making producing legal effects.
8. International transfers
RevenueCat processes data in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses implemented in RevenueCat's data processing addendum. Apple and Google transfer data under their own published safeguards.
9. Retention
- On-device data: kept until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. We have no copy and no way to recover it.
- Purchase records at RevenueCat: kept while the app is distributed and for as long as needed to restore entitlements; deletion can be requested (see below).
- Store transaction records at Apple/Google: retained by them under their own policies and applicable tax law; we cannot delete them.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, or to ask a question about this policy, write to aleindiedev@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Because the app is anonymous, we may be unable to link a request to any specific data. If that happens we will tell you, and we will not ask you for additional identifying documents just to complete a search that would return nothing.
- Argentina: you may contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), the authority overseeing Ley 25.326 on personal data protection.
- EU/EEA and UK: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California: you may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights without being discriminated against; we do not sell or share personal information.
Instructions to delete your data are in Data Deletion.
11. Children
Party Games is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It includes bolder "Spicy" content and dice rules that reference drinking or penalties, so it is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. See our Child Safety Standards.
12. Security
We minimise risk by not collecting data in the first place. On-device data is protected by the operating system's application sandbox and by device encryption when your device is locked with a passcode. Communication with purchase services is encrypted in transit (TLS). To report a vulnerability, see our Security Policy.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the new version at https://partygames.lanpage.co/privacy-policy. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.
